Can I take my charcuterie board home the same day?
No. Our boards receive a clear coat of resin on top to make them food-safe. Depending on our studio curing schedule and whether your piece requires multiple coats, pickup is typically ready within 5 to 10 days.
Can I cut food directly on the board with a knife?
We do not recommend cutting on the resin surface with a knife, as sharp blades will scratch and dull the glossy finish. However, the cured resin surface is completely food-safe and ideal for serving cheeses, charcuterie, and snacks!
How do I clean and care for my resin charcuterie board?
All resin boards should be hand-washed only using mild soap and warm water. Never place your board in the dishwasher or submerge it in water for extended periods, as high heat and soaking will damage both the wood and the resin finish.
How old do you have to be to work with resin?
Resin projects are great for ages 7 and up (our camp kids love making galaxy resin paintings!). Because liquid resin is sticky and requires careful handling to keep off skin and hair, participants of any age need to be able to sit relatively still and follow safety directions.
What if I want to make a galaxy board, but my friend or date wants to do something else?
